CUET Syllabus
The CUET syllabus is aligned with the Class 12 curriculum and is structured into three main sections. Students select subjects based on the requirements of the universities they are applying to.
The Three Sections
The exam has three parts. Section I tests language skills through reading comprehension. Section II covers domain-specific subjects like Physics, History, or Accountancy, based on the NCERT Class 12 syllabus. Section III is a General Test that assesses general knowledge, mental ability, and quantitative reasoning. You must check the specific subject combination required by your target university and course, as not all students need to take all sections.
Key Components of the General Test
- General Knowledge & Current Affairs Focuses on significant national and international events, awards, and history.
- General Mental Ability Includes questions on logical reasoning, series, and patterns.
- Numerical Ability Tests basic mathematical skills like arithmetic, algebra, and geometry up to Grade 8.
- Quantitative Reasoning Involves applying mathematical concepts to solve problems with data.
