ISC Class 11 Syllabus
The ISC Class 11 curriculum is designed by the CISCE as the foundation for the Class 12 board examinations. The syllabus is detailed and focuses on building a strong conceptual understanding across the chosen stream.
Syllabus Structure
The curriculum is divided into compulsory and elective subjects. English is compulsory for all students. Students then choose a stream (Science, Commerce, or Humanities) and select electives. The final examination in Class 11 is conducted by the school based on the council's prescribed syllabus. This syllabus is a direct precursor to what is covered in the Class 12 ISC board exams, with many topics continuing in greater depth.
