Admission Criteria for Institutes
While the NTA sets the eligibility for appearing in JEE Main, admission into NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) has additional requirements. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) often specify a minimum percentage of marks in the Class 12 board exams for admission. Candidates must check the latest information brochure on the official NTA website for precise details.
