BITSAT Eligibility Criteria
BITS Pilani defines the eligibility criteria for appearing in BITSAT. Candidates must meet specific academic requirements to be considered for admission to its integrated first-degree programs.
Core Eligibility Requirements
- Qualifying Exam
- Passed the 12th grade examination of a recognized Central or State board.
- Required Subjects
- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (for B.E.) or Biology (for B.Pharm).
- Minimum Marks
- At least 75% aggregate in PCM/PCB and at least 60% in each subject.
- English Proficiency
- Must have adequate proficiency in English.
Additional Conditions
Students appearing for their 12th-grade examination in the current year are also eligible to apply. However, their admission is provisional and subject to meeting the minimum mark requirements upon the declaration of results. An important rule is that students who are already admitted to any of the BITS Pilani campuses are not eligible to appear for BITSAT again. All final criteria are published by BITS Pilani in its official admission bulletin.
